2025 Kia Sportage

The 2025 Kia Sportage is available in seven trims: LX, EX, X-Line AWD, SX, SX-Prestige, X-Pro, and X-Pro Prestige. The LX starts with 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights. Moving up to the EX brings 18-inch alloys and heated side mirrors. The X-Line AWD features 19-inch wheels and dark chrome grille with mesh pattern. SX and SX-Prestige trims add a panoramic sunroof and satin chrome door handles. The X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige models are equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, along with silver skid plates and black exterior accents for enhanced off-road capability.

All 2025 Sportage models feature a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine generating 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive models deliver 25 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, while all-wheel drive versions get 23 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. The Drive Mode Select system includes Normal, Sport, and Smart modes, with X-Line AWD, X-Pro, and X-Pro Prestige adding Snow and Mud modes. When properly equipped, the Sportage can tow up to 2,500 pounds.

Front-wheel drive Sportage models accelerate from 0-60 mph in 8.0 seconds, while all-wheel drive versions take 8.3 seconds. The X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige models provide 8.3 inches of ground clearance with approach and departure angles of 17.7 and 25.7 degrees, respectively. All trims feature a multi-link rear suspension and Electric Power Steering with variable assist. The X-Line AWD, X-Pro, and X-Pro Prestige models include Hill Descent Control and enhanced traction management systems for improved off-road capability.

The base LX trim features an 8-inch touchscreen, while EX and higher trims upgrade to a 12.3-inch display. SX and above receive a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. EX and X-Line AWD models include synthetic leather upholstery, while SX-Prestige and X-Pro Prestige feature premium leather seating. The cargo area provides 39.6 cubic feet behind the rear seats, expanding to 74.1 cubic feet with seats folded. All trims include dual-zone automatic climate control and smartphone integration. Higher trims add luxury features like a Harman Kardon premium audio system, ventilated front seats, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat.

Every Sportage comes standard with Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Driver Attention Warning. The EX trim adds Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning. SX models incorporate Highway Driving Assist and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. Top-tier SX-Prestige and X-Pro Prestige trims feature additional technology including Surround View Monitor and Blind-Spot View Monitor, creating a comprehensive safety package that protects occupants in various driving conditions.
