With its spacious cabin, advanced entertainment system, and plenty of range, the 2025 Kia EV9 will get you wherever you want to go, in style. We bring you details of the five trim levels to help you distinguish between them.

2025 Kia EV9

1. Light

We begin with the Light, a rear-wheel-drive SUV powered by a single motor and a 76.1 kWh battery pack. This efficient pairing generates 215 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and enables you to travel 230 miles before needing to recharge. Kia helps drivers maximize range by equipping the Light with a regenerative braking system, which is controlled using the paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel.

Inside, front passengers can adjust their heated and ventilated seats in eight different ways. Two 12.3-inch displays dominate the dashboard: a large instrument cluster and an infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone compatibility, voice recognition, and integrated navigation. A separate eight-inch display is used to control the tri-zone HVAC system. The eight-speaker sound system is equipped with Passenger Talk, helping you communicate with the kids without shouting.

2. Light Long Range

As the name suggests, the Light Long Range can go further on a single charge, thanks to a larger 99.8 kWh battery that extends the range to 304 miles. The second-row bench seating is replaced with more comfortable captain’s chairs, transforming this trim into a six-seater SUV. A power tilt-and-slide sunroof brightens up the cabin.

3. Wind

The Wind gains a second motor at the rear, improving capability by turning the EV9 into an all-wheel drive SUV. This power boost ups the output to a very impressive 379 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Roof rails offer options for carrying extra cargo. Your hands will enjoy the warmth provided by the heated steering wheel. Kia also adds a heat pump to warm the cabin more efficiently.

4. Land

Next is the Land, an EV9 that moves us into luxury territory. Gloss-black accents, LED cube headlights, and 20-inch wheels upgrade the exterior, while ambient lighting and heated and ventilated rear seats elevate the comfort inside. A 14-speaker Meridian audio system improves the sound quality throughout the cabin. Drivers have an unobscured view of the road behind thanks to a digital rearview mirror.

5. GT-Line

Heading the EV9 lineup is the GT-Line. Gunmetal-colored elements lend the exterior a sleek, modern look, while a self-leveling suspension and 21-inch black and silver wheels make every ride smoother, both on and off-road. Inside, the front seats have more adjustments for improved comfort and support.
