The EV9 comes with a 99.8 kWh battery pack and has either a single rear motor in RWD versions or dual motors in AWD variants. The AWD models are capable of producing 379 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. This provides the EV9 with excellent speed, launching it to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds. On the Wind and Land trims, an available Boost feature increases the motor’s torque to 516 lb-ft for an extra boost of strength. That strength is also evident in the 5,000 lb towing capacity.

Charging and Electric Particulars

The EV9 is cold-weather ready, boasting an available heat pump that helps to preserve electric energy, along with a battery warmer that can improve performance. You can charge your batter in numerous ways, including at home or on the go. A ChargePoint level 2 charging system can be installed at home for convenient charging, or you can use the available portable Webasto Go charger that has adaptors for 120V and 240V outlets.

DC fast-charging is also available for use, which can recharge as much as 80% in only 24 minutes. Over 16,500 North American Charging Standard (NACS) fast-charging stations are expected to be available for use beginning in the spring of 2025.

Spacious Three-Row Interior

The EV9’s first and second rows have segment-first lounge seats available that have heating and ventilating capabilities, power leg rests, and power extendable footrests. The third row is easy to access due to second-row seats that tilt forward. In this coveted rear row, you’ll be treated to accommodating legroom and shoulder room that allow you to stretch out while you put your drink in the cupholder and plug your phone into one of two USB-C charging ports.

Advanced Technology

The EV9’s cabin is a digital haven, offering nearly 30 inches of total combined screen space for infotainment and instrumentation. An available 360-degree Surround View Monitor gives you an aerial view of your surroundings to help you park and maneuver in and out of tight spaces. The rearview mirror can also become a camera, providing a complete view of the road behind you, even if there’s people in the way.
