The 2025 Kia Seltos is a practical compact SUV perfect for everyday driving. It’s comfortable, easy to drive, and packed with a list of standard and available amenities and tech. Get to know the features that make this small SUV stand out.

Power and Efficiency

The Seltos comes with a 2.0L engine that offers enough power for your daily commutes. It pairs with an intelligent variable transmission (IVT) and puts out 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard on most models, but you can get front-wheel drive on the S and EX trims. You’ll average around 29 mpg with all-wheel drive and up to 31 mpg if you go with front-wheel drive.

The X-Line and SX trims ditch the base engine for a more powerful 1.6L turbo-four that puts out 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with all-wheel drive. The turbo powertrain achieves a solid 25 mpg combined, with 24 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.

Interior Space and Comfort

The Seltos offers a ton of interior space for a small SUV. With 41.4 inches of front legroom and 38 inches of rear legroom, everyone can sit comfortably and still have room to stretch out. You’ll get 26.6 cubic feet of cargo space and up to 62.8 cubic feet with the rear seats stowed. The base LX comes with cloth seats, air conditioning, and rear air vents to keep the rear passengers comfortable.

Heated front seats are optional on the S model and standard on all the other trims. Other available niceties include a 10-way power driver’s seat, SynTex-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power sunroof. The top-spec SX model dials up the style with a flat-bottom steering wheel and optional ventilated front seats.

Media and Connectivity

The base LX features an 8-inch touchscreen center display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can connect your smartphone to use Maps, send and receive texts, and stream content. You’ll also get Bluetooth audio streaming, AM/FM radio, a 6-speaker sound system, and three USB ports.

Step up to higher trims for a larger 10.25-inch unit with built-in navigation and SiriusXM. A matching 10.25-inch instrument display is available on some trims, along with a wireless charging pad and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.

Driver Assistance Features

All models have a forward collision avoidance-assist system with car and pedestrian detection. It scans the road for potential hazards and can apply the brakes automatically to prevent a crash. Lane departure warning and lane keep assist are also standard, while adaptive cruise control and blind spot collision warning are available.
